The Escape

     The Escape has 400 properties with 300 homes. There are 8 miles of roads, central water and sewer, 2 tennis courts, 2 pools, 2 playgrounds, a recreation field, a swimming dock and 20 acres of greenbelt. There are 11 lakefront homes and 98 boat slips. The community lies within two townships in Pike County. All the mobile homes are in Greene Township, while all the conventionally built homes are in Palmyra Township. The community is one mile north of Exit 20, Interstate 84 and can also be accessed off Ledgedale Road in Greentown. The Escape is in the Wallenpaupack Area School District. The community offers properties that range from 1/3 – ¾ acre lots.
